Athena Condos, 94
September 11, 1927 – January 18, 2022
Athena Condos, 94, peacefully passed away on January 18, 2022, in the comfort of her home. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God ultimately gave her peace.
Athena worked as a secretary at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in New York City, a job she thoroughly enjoyed and was very proud of. She loved attending her beautiful church, Zoodohos Peghe Greek Orthodox Church in the Bronx.
Athena is survived by her two devoted daughters, Emily King and Denise Condos, both of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of the Bronx; Adam J. King, her grandson and his family, Brittnie Mullen and their children; her brother Anthony J. Votsis, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Condos in 1999.
A prayer service will be held at 5:00 PM, Monday, January 24, 2022, at Strunk Funeral Home Chapel, 1623 North Central Avenue, Sebastian, Florida with Father John Mamangakis of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Fort Pierce, officiating.
