Deputies seek help in ID’ing Sun City Arcade robbery suspect

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Deputies are asking the public for help in identifying a man suspected of robbing Sun City Arcade overnight Thursday.

It was unclear if the man had a weapon during the incident. Details on any possible injuries or how much money was taken were not immediately available.

The robbery happened about 2 a.m. Thursday at Sun City Arcade, 721 U.S. 1, just south of 8th Street, Indian River County sheriff’s officials said. Deputies on Thursday released surveillance images of the man inside the gambling business.

Sheriff’s officials described the suspect as black and in his 30’s. Deputies said the man was between 5-feet 4-inches and 5-feet 7-inches tall and has shoulder length dreads.

The man was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts, sheriff’s officials said. Those who know the man’s identity are asked to contact sheriff’s public safety dispatch at 772-978-6240.
