Grand Harbor to Host 2022 Vero Beach International Tennis Open
VERO BEACH, FL – On January 10, 2022, Grand Harbor Golf and Beach Club will bring some of the world’s highest level women tennis professionals to Vero Beach.
Representing over 30 countries, these players will be competing for a chance to win the 2022 Vero Beach International Open Tennis Tournament. This US Tennis Association Women’s Pro Circuit event features players ranked from 150 to 300 in the world and is considered a competitive pathway for up-and-coming tennis stars. For instance, the 2014 Vero Beach event included players such as Naomi Osaka, Laura Seigemund, and Sofia Kenin, who have since achieved career-high world rankings.
This event offers the perfect opportunity for Vero Beach residents to attend a professional tennis tournament locally. In addition to their WTA ranking points, these players will be competing for $25,000 in prize money. The tournament will be complemented by numerous social events at the Grand Harbor Club, including a fashion show, art show, wine social and gala dinner.
