Steven Edward Erlanger, 64, Fort Pierce

March 28, 1957 – November 22, 2021

Steven Edward Erlanger, age 64, of Fort Pierce FL passed away Monday November 22, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.

Born March 28, 1967, in Springfield, Ohio. He was the son of Fred E. and Robby Mae Erlanger.

He was preceded in death by his father in December 2010 and his son, Steven Austin Erlanger, in July 2011.

Steven is survived by his mother, his wife Kay Elaine Erlanger, and two sons Matthew Erlanger and Michael Whip.

A Gathering will be held 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home& Crematory, Vero Beach, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to www.mollyshouse.org, where Steven had previously served on their board.

Judith Marie Ragnone (Judy), 81, Barefoot Bay

November 29, 1939 – November 22, 2021

Judith Marie Ragnone (Judy), age 81, of Barefoot Bay, Florida went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2021. Judy was born in White Plains, NY on November 29, 1939, daughter of Thomas Tobin and Wilburta Dunn.

Judy met the love of her life at age 17, Robert Ragnone, whom she married and spent 64 wonderful and adventurous years together. They built and decorated many homes in which her creative flair shone through. She could light up any room with her beautiful eyes, smile, and impeccable dress. She had an incredible gift of conversation which led her to meet many dear friends and numerous acquaintances. Everyone wanted to be her friend!

Her primary focus was her family. She cherished the time spent together and her guidance, love and support were appreciated by all. Those she leaves behind: husband Robert of Barefoot Bay, Florida, daughters Dawn (Ed) Gibler of Seabrook, Texas, Cheryl (Joe) Delena of Lagrangeville, New York, grandchildren Megan (Nicholas) Toomey, Robert (Tracy) Gibler, Christopher Delena, great grandchild Evie Toomey and nieces Denise (Tom) Fetterolf, Robin (Marc) Maset, Chrisy (Dale) Pittmann, Shannon (Julie) Kennedy. Judy is predeceased by her sister Dorothy Kennedy.

Judy lived life to its fullest. She enjoyed travelling, visiting friends, playing mahjong, shopping, and decorating. She was a member of the Barefoot Bay Martini League, University Women, Red Hats and British Club.

Judy was extremely driven and made many accomplishments during her lifetime. She had a fruitful career with The New York State Department of Corrections for 23 years in successive positions; Beginning as a Stenographer, earned her BS Degree in Sociology, became a Temporary Release Counselor and ultimately Acting Superintendent at a maximum security prison.

A visitation will be held at Strunk Funeral Home, 1623 N Central Ave., Sebastian, FL on December 1st from 2pm to 4pm. A celebration of Life Ceremony will take place in January.  In lieu of flowers we encourage you to make a donation to Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Durean Emma Caron “Meme,’” 89,  Vero Beach

October 01, 1932 – November 22, 2021

Durean Emma Caron “Meme’” of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on November 22, 2021 at home with her family by her side. She was born in Henniker, NH, of Paul and Eleanor Cooper. Graduated from Hillsboro-Deering Cooperative High School. Attended at Elliot Hospital for the School of Nursing. Durean was known by her family as “Deanie”, she had two sisters Marvis and Cynthia deceased, brother David deceased and she is survived by Larry her baby brother, that she loved dearly, and he always made her laugh and smile. She grew up on Chick-A-Biddy farm in Deering, NH. Durean was an above average student & an All-American Athlete in High School. From there, she followed her dream to become a nurse.

Durean married a sailor and traveled often living in 37 homes, while raising her children. Her adventures and stories were many, starting out in Africa where sadly she lost her second son, Steven. Retirement days were spent building houses alongside her husband in their business, B & C Development in Merrimack, NH. She was known for her open caring home and was affectionately know as “Meme’” by everyone. She volunteered her time at St. Helen’s Catholic School cafeteria and was always in the pickup line for her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She loved dancing with my father, playing cards with friends, sewing, and gardening. Everyone was welcome in her home.She Married Francis Oscar Caron (Frank Caron) April 19, 1952, at St. Joseph Cathedral, Manchester, NH.

She is survived by her children son, Robert Micheal Caron, daughter, Brenda Diana Perrault, son’s David Patrick Caron, Timothy Wayne Caron, and Mark Anthony Caron. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and her 27.5 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial is being planned for next week. Burial will take place in the family cemetery in Merrimack, NH where she will be laid by her husband of 65 years Frank Caron, in July 2022.

Winifred (Winnie) Merle Sova, 95, Sebastian

November 14, 1926 – November 21, 2021

Sebastian, Florida – Winifred (Winnie) Merle Sova, 95, of Sebastian, Florida (formerly Cheboygan, Michigan) joined her Lord, and was reunited with her beloved husband Clarence Sova in Heaven on Sunday, November 21, 2021.

Winnie was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 14, 1926 and was the daughter of Clarence and Gladys Archambo. Winnie and her family later moved to Cheboygan, Michigan and they resided at the Black Lake Hotel. While living in Cheboygan, Winnie met and later married Clarence Sova, the love of her life, on February 9, 1948. Together, they welcomed four children into this world.

Winnie’s very favorite people called her wife, mom, nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Winnie adored her family, friends, the Catholic Church, Atlanta Braves Baseball and the casino.

Winnie was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Sova, her father Clarence Archambo, her mother Gladys Archambo, her sisters Agnes Archambo, Glady Archambeau and Marie McKee, as well as her brothers Clarence Archambo and Leroy Archambeau.

Winnie is survived by her four children, Rick (Beth) Sova, Bobby Jo (Roger) Sarrault, Tom (Sue) Sova and Lori Sova, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Per Winnie’s wishes, a funeral service will not be held. A small graveside service will be held in Florida, at a later date.
