August 26, 1937 – October 23, 2021
Susan Marie Preston, 84, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Sea Breeze Rehab and Nursing Center in Vero Beach.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Frank and Amanda Zabahon Paul.
Susan had worked as a secretary in the hospitality industry for Hilton. In Vero, she had also worked in a secretarial capacity at Piper.
Survivors include daughter Patricia A. Coffey of Vero Beach, and her children Amanda Preston (Joel Anderson) of Buffalo, New York, Kyle Lasky of Arlington VA, Gavin and Zachary Coffey of Vero Beach. A son Thomas Michael Preston (Krystal Miller) of Arlington Heights, Illinois and his daughter Kathleen Ramirez (Joe) of Arlington Heights Illinois.
Brothers Frank Douglas Paul of Sebastian and Michael Paul of Vero Beach.
She was preceded in death by a daughter – Candi Liston and a Son – Paul Preston.

Roland Fletcher Peacock, 66, Florida
August 30, 1955 – October 29, 2021
“I don’t have regrets. I lived a fantastic life. I’ve gotten to fall in love. I have three amazing kids. I loved my job and I think I was pretty good at it. I got paid well for fighting against the United States Government. What other country pays one of its citizens to fight against it?”
Roland Fletcher Peacock was born in Washington, D.C. and spent his childhood between there, Sri Lanka and Ormond Beach, Florida. After graduating from high school in Daytona Beach, Fletcher attended and graduated from the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. As an adult, he chose to live and pursue his career in the state of Florida.
In keeping with the true spirit of the U.S. Constitution, Fletcher worked tirelessly to advance the rights of the accused. Fletcher defended the Constitution in an understated manner, balancing old world courtesy with a sharp intellectual approach to the law.
Fletcher was true to his values in both his professional and personal lives. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Lydia Pittaway and father to his three sons, Sam, Chris, and Liam. Fletcher was adored and revered by his four nieces and nephews, and dearly loved by his sister, Susan Peacock, his brother William Peacock and ex-wife Tamara Peacock. His family, by both blood and bond, ask you to keep his memory alive through random acts of kindness, rooting for the Florida Gators, and drinking any decent scotch while listening to Tom Petty.
