James Joseph Lewis, age 95, of Vero Beach passed away on April 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 22, 1926 in Hamilton, Ohio and had been a resident Indian River County.
James was a Truck Driver and worked for Piper Aircraft in Vero Beach.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving in both WW II and the Korean War.
James is survived by his daughter, Linda Hill of Vero Beach; 2 sons, Mark of Wisconsin, and Richard of Sebastian; 2 brothers, Larry Lewis of Richmond, Indiana, and Jerry Lewis of Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Donna Jean Wyatt of Indiana, and Hazel Fortner of Richmond; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
James was predeceased by his wife, Audrey, son, Danny and daughter, Geneva.
A memorial service will be held in Ohio, at a later date.

Cindy Ann Pitcock, 62, passed away due to a sudden illness on April 4, 2021 in Vero Beach, Florida.
She was born in Detroit, MI, lived in Roseville, MI, Sterling Heights, MI, and finally Vero Beach, FL for the last 6 years.
Cindy was a selfless woman who was born to be a mother/grandmother. Her favorite things in life were children (any and all), music (Elton John, David Bowie, The Beatles, Counting Crows, and many more), family/friends, True Crime, crocheting, and bargain shopping.
Cindy was a simple woman with a heart of gold. She was always available to lend an ear or advice. She was caring, compassionate, loving, and tough as nails (in the best way possible!). Her family and friends were all that mattered and all she needed in life. It didn’t matter what time it was, she was always available. She made a difference in so many lives over the years, young and old.
Cindy loved music and shared her love with anyone that would listen. She influenced good music choices in so many people through the years. David Bowie was her favorite. Her sons were both musically inclined and she enjoyed having band practice at her house. She loved the music and the friendships it created.
Cindy’s greatest blessings, besides her children, were her twin grandsons Noah and Owen. She was an integral part of their lives since the day they were born. They were her pride and joy. Noah has non-verbal Autism and Cindy was his caregiver for 15 years. She was not just his Grandma; she was his best friend and champion. Her grandchildren were her life. The love she gave them will last a lifetime.
Cindy is survived by her husband Donnie Pitcock (married 43.5 years), daughter Nicole Hill (Greg) of Vero Beach, sons Matt Pitcock of Detroit, Michigan and Scott Pitcock (Aurelia) of Denver, Colorado, twin grandsons Noah and Owen Hill. She further leaves behind her mother Judy Bazzetta, sisters Mary Kaye Nolan (Steve), Lynn List (Larry), Amy Tilton (Mark), and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father Frank Bazzetta, her sister Sherri Lewinski and her brother Steve Bazzetta.

Cindy would do anything for her grandsons and this cause was close to her heart. RISE Center IRC will be a wonderful option for Noah when he graduates at age 22. They offer day programs for the disabled; the only facility in IRC.

Henry “Hank” Passett, 88, of Sebastian, FL passed away early Monday, April 5, 2021 with his wife and family at his side.
He was born to Henry and Hannah Passett on November 13, 1932 in New York, NY. He served in the Korean War, came home to Amityville, NY and married the love of his life Phyllis Passett on May 7, 1955.
He was an entrepreneur and a wonderful provider for his family. Everywhere he lived he was the guy to go to if you needed help with something. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gambling, racing, time on the water and motorcycling until the end.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Passett, son Richard Passett (and wife Ingrida), daughter Sandra Doty (and husband Jim). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and his best friend of 75 years Bill “Sonny” Sammis.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 13, 2021 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, FL, with burial immediately following at Sebastian Municipal Cemetery.

Kathleen Marion Nowak, 93, Palm Bay

Kathleen Marion Nowak, 93, of Palm Bay, died Tuesday April 6, 2021.
She was born to Claude and Elizabeth Allison on June 3, 1927 in Tennessee. She married the late John Nowak in 1951. They lived together in Wisconsin until their retirement in 1978 and then moved to Barefoot Bay Florida.
Kathleen worked at the Milwaukee Road for 10 years where she formed many lasting friendships. She also volunteered at the Sebastian River Medical Center for over 10 years Kathleen was a member of the Barefoot Bay Golf Course and loved to play Pinochle with her friends.
Kathleen is survived by her children Lynn (Bill) Schwab of Waukesha WI and Laura (Alan) Lesak of Sebastian Fl. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A private memorial will be held with family. Kathleen will be interred at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery with her husband, John, of 55 years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay Fl.
