The Brevard Symphony Orchestra’s FREE Family Concert will air starting on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 2:00 pm on the BSO’s YouTube channel.
Beethoven & Me is a FREE online concert by the Brevard Symphony Orchestra, performed to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
This family-friendly program features excerpts from Beethoven’s Symphonies 3, 5, 7, 8, and 9, an excerpt from the Egmont Overture, and a special appearance by the Brevard Youth Chorus, under the direction of Joani Slawson. Actor Terrence Girard appears as Ludwig van Beethoven. Listeners will learn about Beethoven’s music, his life, and the challenges he faced. It is an uplifting performance that will educate as well as entertain!
