CON BRIO TO PERFORM IN VERO

First Presbyterian Department of Music and Arts

January 18, 2021, VERO BEACH – The Award-winning International musicians of the Con Brio String Quartet will present a concert on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at 4:00pm. The concert will take place in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church, 520 Royal Palm Boulevard in Vero Beach. Admission is free; a $10 donation is suggested. Masks and Social Distancing will be required, attendance in the sanctuary will be limited to the first 100 guests. The concert will also be available online via Livestream on the church website: FirstPresVero.org.

The Con Brio Quartet is comprised of four international musicians. Valentin Mansurov (violin), Marina Lenau (violin), David Pedraza (viola), and Aziz Sapaev (cello), are currently part of the Palm Beach Symphony, Symphony of the Americas, Florida Grand Opera, Atlantic Classical Orchestra, and the Palm Beach Pops. They hail from from Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, and Uzbekistan respectively. They have performed around the world as soloists and orchestral musicians with prestigious ensembles such as Orquesta Sinfonica de la UAT in Mexico, National Symphony of Ukraine, Symphony of the Americas Summerfest Orchestra, and many more.

The concert on Sunday, February 21 at 4:00pm in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church will feature a Beethoven String Quartet as well as the Elgar Piano Quintet featuring Dr. Jacob Craig, Director of Music and Arts at First Presbyterian, on piano.

First Presbyterian Church has been blessed to be able to continue offering live music to the Vero Beach Community throughout the pandemic through live streaming technology, social distancing, and smaller-scale chamber ensemble offerings that allow for musicians and concertgoers to stay at a safe distance while enjoying the performances.
