Kim Alexis to headline Fashion Meets Art 2021 at the Vero Beach Museum of Art

The Vero Beach Museum of Art (VBMA) is proud to present Kim Alexis, in person, at their fourth annual Fashion Meets Art (FMA) fundraising event on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at 4 pm.

Kim Alexis is part of an elite team of models who rose to “supermodel” status in the 1980’s. Her career began when she was discovered at the age of 17 in a Buffalo modeling agency. Kim moved to New York City and secured her first magazine cover within 4 days. She graced the runways at fashion shows for the top designers in New York and Milan throughout her modeling career. Kim appeared on over 500 magazine covers worldwide including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan and set the cover record for Glamour magazine. She appeared in the coveted Sport’s Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for six consecutive years, which made perfect sense since Kim grew up swimming competitively. In 1983 Kim replaced Lauren Hutton as the face of Revlon’s Ultima II brand and became one of the most recognizable faces in America.

Kim understands the demands on the modern woman and the importance of reimagining, reinventing and remodeling your life for what’s next. For more than 40 years Kim has been a student and teacher of living your best life through healthy diet, exercise, a clean beauty regimen, and mind, body and spiritual wellness. She is a lifestyle expert for women 40+.

Over the past 20 years, Kim’s TV hosting experience has covered a range of shows from travel to healthy cooking and eating to beauty and fashion including a multi-year stint as the Fashion Editor of “Good Morning America”. Because of her relatable woman-next-door, down-to-earth demeanor, Kim has built rapport with and has gained the trust of millions of women around the world.
