William Patrick Olsson, 73, Vero Beach
William “Bill” Patrick Olsson, 73, died Dec. 25, 2020, at home in Vero Beach. Born and raised in Winthrop, Mass., Bill graduated from Winthrop High School and was a member of the 1964 WHS Hall of Fame undefeated NEC Football Champions. Bill attended Arizona State University where he attained his pilot’s license.
Bill retired as an auto mechanic and small engine pilot and moved with Debbie to Florida.
Bill is survived by Debra E. Silck, the love of his life and soulmate of 20 years; his twin, Ronald of Fuguay Varina, North Carolina; siblings, Fred (wife, Glade); Dr. Carl (wife, Mary); Ambia Smith (husband, Kenneth); daughter, Dawn Olsson Milne; and stepdaughters, Kelly Lounsbury (husband, Geoff), and Kimberly Dufresne (husband, Jeff).
Bill was Grandpa to five step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Ruth (Bostrom) Olsson.
Memorial contributions, in memory of Bill, may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
At the request of the family, funeral services are private.
