Indian River County added 35 new COVID-19 cases Friday, according to the Florida Department of Health dashboard. This raises the total amount of county cases to 3,882, while the death toll remained at 125. 

Health officials said 64 out of the 125 Indian River County deaths were at long-term care facilities.

There have been 347 COVID-19 hospitalizations in Indian River County, health officials said. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

There were nine people still hospitalized as of Friday, officials said.

For the Indian River County cases among residents, 2,214 were white, 443 were black, 374 were listed as “other” and 818 were listed as “unknown.”

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 800,216. The number of deaths among residents and non-residents increased to 16,927.

Indian River County added 44 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, according to the Florida Department of Health dashboard. This raises the total amount of county cases to 3,847, while the death toll remained at 125.

There have been 42,678 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 3,847 testing positive and 38,808 testing negative, health officials said. The testing figures account for residents and non-residents.

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 794,624. The number of deaths among residents and non-residents increased to 16,854.
