Indian River County added 18 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, along with one new death, according to the Florida Department of Health dashboard. This raises the total number of county cases to 3,569, while the death toll increased to 123.

The new Indian River County death is:

  • An 85-year-old woman with no travel history and unknown contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted Sept. 18.

The new Indian River County cases can be found on the health department’s state linelist. Health officials said 64 out of the 123 Indian River County deaths were at long-term care facilities.     

The long-term care facilities with COVID-19 cases can be found here. Health officials also released the names of facilities with COVID-19 deaths.

There have been 326 people hospitalized for COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

There were seven people still hospitalized as of Tuesday, health officials said.

For the Indian River County cases among residents, 1,975 were white, 412 were black, 367 were listed as “other” and 788 were listed as “unknown.”

There have been 40,391 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 3,569 testing positive and 36,799 testing negative. The testing figures account for residents and non-residents.

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 760,389. The number of deaths among residents and non-residents increased to 16,308.

Indian River County added nine new COVID-19 cases Monday, according to the Florida Department of Health dashboard. This raises the total number of county cases to 3,551, while the death toll remained at 122.

The new Indian River County cases can be found on the health department’s state linelist. Health officials said 63 out of the 122 Indian River County deaths were at long-term care facilities.     

The long-term care facilities with COVID-19 cases can be found here. Health officials also released the names of facilities with COVID-19 deaths.

There have been 325 people hospitalized for COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

There were six people still hospitalized as of Monday, health officials said.

For the Indian River County cases among residents, 1,962 were white, 410 were black, 365 were listed as “other” and 787 were listed as “unknown.”

There have been 40,149 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 3,551 testing positive and 36,576 testing negative. The testing figures account for residents and non-residents.

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 756,727. The number of deaths among residents and non-residents increased to 16,222.

The new Indian River County death is:

  • A 78-year-old woman with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted Sept. 24.

Indian River County added 18 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, along with two new deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health dashboard. This raises the total number of county cases to 3,476, while the death toll increased to 121.

The two new Indian River County deaths are:

  • An 86-year-old woman with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted Aug. 2. 
  • A 94-year-old woman with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted Sept. 18.
