Cynthia Lee Boland, 71, Vero Beach

Cynthia Lee Boland, 71, of Vero Beach, departed peacefully surrounded by the ones she loved the most Oct. 5, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., to William and Satin Lee.

She was married for 40 years to the love of her life, John Boland.

Cindy pursued her dreams of a career in education receiving her degree from Loyola University. She began her teaching career in South Florida at St. Vincent’s. She took a hiatus to raise her two daughters Satin and Alison.

After relocating to Vero Beach, she resumed her teaching career at Saint Edward’s School. She finished out her remaining years there. Mrs. B, as she was affectionately known, helped build and nurture some impressive minds that she cherished to her very last day.

She is survived by her two sisters, Christine Davis and Cathleen Peel; two brothers, Michael Boland and  Marty Boland; beloved grandson, Jacob Modesitt; daughter, Alison Boland; as well as many nieces and nephews and those lucky enough to have her as their Nana.

She is predeceased by her husband, John Boland; and daughter, Satin Modesitt.

Mrs. B also leaves behind many beloved students on whom she undoubtedly left a timeless impression.
