Christel Davis, 73, Sebastian
Christel Davis, 73, of Sebastian, passed away Oct. 9, 2020. She was born Dec. 23, 1946, in Gunzenhausen, Bavaria, Germany, to Fritz and Freda Dersch.
She was the kind of person who welcomed everybody in, even if she did not know you well. For example, if she was cooking and you just happened to stop by, Christel would insist that you eat as well. She was very big on not asking for anything, but always giving.
She loved her family. Christel did her best at making sure all of her children and grandchildren were taken care of. She loved to travel with her husband, cook and enjoyed bingo, shuffleboard, needlepoint, latch hook and anything else she could find to try.
Christel will be sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, Robert; and two daughters, Barbara and Birgit; grandchildren, Christel, Jeanette, Justina, Amber, Shawn, Timothy and Raymond; and great-grandchildren, Brianna, and Sonya.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Irene, who passed five years ago from cancer.
