Junior League of Indian River seeks new members

The Junior League of Indian River (JLIR) is hosting fall training for provisional members intrigued by the opportunity to join the non-profit organization and uncover what propels this powerful partnership of women.

The training will take place 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out to interested members prior to the meeting.

“The Junior League’s mission is about giving back to our community and developing the potential of women,” said Chelsea Miller, JLIR president. “Women who are interested in not only creating an impact in our community, but also learning how to be future leaders in our community, are encouraged to come to our orientation class to learn more about the League.”

Every fall and spring, JLIR welcomes new members to the organization. During this provisional period, new members are required to complete community impact projects and partake in the spring fundraiser.

Those interested in attending or receiving more information about the fall provisional training can email membership@jlir.org.
