Indian River County added 23 new positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday, according to the Florida Department of Health dashboard. This raises the total number of county cases to 2,858, while the death count increased to 102.

The new Indian River County deaths are:

  • A 93-year-old woman with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted July 12.
  • A 92-year-old woman with no travel history and unknown contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted July 27.
  • An 85-year-old man with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The man’s case was counted Aug. 7.
  • A 79-year-old man with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The man’s case was counted Aug. 15.

The Indian River County cases can be found on the health department’s state linelist.

Health officials said 54 out of the 102 deaths in Indian River County were at long term care facilities.

There have been 253 residents and three non-residents hospitalized from COVID-19 in Indian River County. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

As of Tuesday, there were four people still hospitalized from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said.

There have been 31,077 tests completed in Indian River County, with 2,839 residents testing positive and 28,225 testing negative, officials said. There were 50 tests pending and 13 were determined inconclusive.

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 631,040, health officials said. The amount of deaths in Florida increased to 11,521.

Indian River County added one new positive COVID-19 case Monday, according to the Florida Department of Health county report. This raises the total number of county cases to 2,835, while the death count remained at 98.

Health officials said 51 out of the 98 deaths in Indian River County were at long term care facilities.

There have been 251 hospitalizations from COVID-19 in Indian River County. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

As of Monday, there were five people still hospitalized from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said.

For the Indian River County cases, 1,384 were white, 353 were black, 318 were listed as “other” and 761 were listed as “unknown race.”

There have been 30,795 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 2,816 residents testing positive and 27,965 testing negative, health officials said. There were 51 test results pending and 14 were determined inconclusive.

Indian River County added 21 new positive COVID-19 cases Thursday, along with five new deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health dashboard. This raises the total number of county cases to 2,801, while the death count increased to 96.

The new Indian River County deaths are:

  • A 74-year-old woman with no travel history and unknown contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted July 26.
  • An 81-year-old woman with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted Aug. 1.
  • An 81-year-old woman with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted Aug. 2.
  • A 92-year-old woman with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted Aug. 2.
  • A 28-year-old man with unknown travel history. The man’s case was counted Aug. 25.
