John Garrett Lloyd, 43, Vero Beach
John Garrett “Gary” Lloyd, 43, of Vero Beach, passed away unexpectedly Sunday Aug. 16, 2020, at home. He was born in Vero Beach, Oct. 12, 1976, and continued to live there until his passing.
He had toured with two Gospel music groups, playing the drums in his earlier life and continued to share his passion of music with his family at every gathering up until his death.
He is survived by his father, John Ralph Lloyd, of Vero; sisters, Kathy Dowling(Donnie), of Vero, and Cindy Davis(Jim), of Seffner, Fla.; and nephews and nieces, Travis Davis(Ashley), Brandon Dowling, Rachel Jackson(Ricky) and Chelsa Davis, Daniel Dowling, Keaton Davis and Bailey Jackson.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Lana R. Lloyd in 2017.
The family is planning a private gathering at a later date.
