Indian River County added 19 new positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the total number of county cases to 2,574, while the death count remained at 57.

There were no new deaths reported in Indian River County Wednesday. The Indian River County cases can be found on the health department’s state linelist.

Health department officials released the names of long-term care facilities with COVID-19 cases. Officials also released the names of the facilities with COVID-19 deaths.

Health officials said 28 out of the 57 deaths in Indian River County were at long-term care facilities.

There have been 200 hospitalizations among residents and three among non-residents from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

As of Wednesday, there were 24 people still hospitalized from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said.

For the Indian River County cases, 1,105 were white, 289 were black, 302 were listed as “other” and 863 were listed as “unknown” regarding race or ethnicity.

There have been 27,532 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 2,574 testing positive and 24,945 testing negative, officials said. There were 53 tests pending and 13 were determined inconclusive.

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 550,901. The number of deaths statewide, including Florida residents and non-residents, increased to 8,897.

Indian River County added 12 new positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday, along with one new death, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the total number of county cases to 2,555, while the death count increased to 57.

The new Indian River County death is:

  • A 94-year-old woman with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted July 9.

The Indian River County cases can be found on the health department’s state linelist.

Health department officials released the names of long-term care facilities with COVID-19 cases. Officials also released the names of the facilities with COVID-19 deaths.

Health officials said 28 out of the 57 deaths in Indian River County were at long-term care facilities.

There have been 192 hospitalizations among residents and three among non-residents from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

As of Monday, there were 25 people still hospitalized from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said.

For the Indian River County cases, 1,087 were white, 277 were black, 295 were listed as “other” and 881 were listed as “unknown” regarding race or ethnicity.

There have been 27,423 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 2,555 testing positive and 24,856 testing negative, officials said. There were 54 tests pending and 12 were determined inconclusive.

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 542,792. The number of deaths statewide, including Florida residents and non-residents, increased to 8,685.

Indian River County added 20 new positive COVID-19 cases Monday, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the total number of county cases to 2,543, while the death count remained at 56.

There were no new deaths reported Monday. The Indian River County cases can be found on the health department’s state linelist.

There have been 192 hospitalizations among residents and three among non-residents from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

The daily positivity rate in Indian River County remained at 9.3 percent, health officials said.

Indian River County added 35 new positive COVID-19 cases Sunday, along with one new death, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the total number of county cases to 2,523 while the death count increased to 56. 

The new Indian River County death is:

  • An 88-year-old man with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The man’s case was counted July 21.

As of Friday, there were 20 people still hospitalized from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said.

For the Indian River County cases, 1,058 were white, 270 were black, 287 were listed as “other” and 893 were listed as “unknown” regarding race or ethnicity.

There have been 27,095 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 2,523 testing positive and 24,558 testing negative, officials said. There were 55 tests pending and 14 were determined inconclusive.

The daily positivity rate in Indian River County increased to 9.3 percent, health officials said.  

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 532,806. The number of deaths statewide, including Florida residents and non-residents, increased to 8,315.

Indian River County added 38 new positive COVID-19 cases Saturday, along with three new deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the total number of county cases to 2,488 while the death count increased to 55. 

The three new Indian River County deaths are:

  • An 81-year-old man with no travel history and unknown contact with an infected person. The man’s case was counted June 26. 
  • An 83-year-old man with no travel history. The man’s case was counted August 2.
  • An 80-year-old man with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The man’s case was counted August 3.

There have been 26,780 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 2,488 testing positive and 24,277 testing negative, officials said. There were 52 tests pending and 15 were determined inconclusive.

The daily positivity rate in Indian River County increased to 9.2 percent, health officials said.  

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 526,577. The number of deaths statewide, including Florida residents and non-residents, increased to 8,238.

Indian River County added 26 new positive COVID-19 cases Friday, along with one new death, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the total number of county cases to 2,450 while the death count increased to 52. 

The new Indian River County death is:

  • A 70-year-old woman with no travel history and unknown contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted July 7.

The Indian River County cases can be found on the health department’s state linelist.

There have been 184 total hospitalizations from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said. The number of hospitalizations and county cases are both cumulative.

As of Friday, there were 20 people still hospitalized from COVID-19 in Indian River County, health officials said.

For the Indian River County cases, 1,027 were white, 256 were black, 276 were listed as “other” and 876 were listed as “unknown” regarding race or ethnicity.

There have been 26,503 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 2,450 testing positive and 24,037 testing negative, officials said. There were 53 tests pending and 16 were determined inconclusive.  

Statewide, the number of cases increased to 518,075. The number of deaths statewide, including Florida residents and non-residents, increased to 8,051.
