Indian River County added 45 new positive coronavirus cases Thursday, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the number of county cases to 1,431, while the death count remained at 22.

The Indian River County cases can be found on the health department’s state linelist.

Health department officials released the names of long-term care facilities with COVID-19 cases. Officials also released the names of the facilities with COVID-19 deaths.

Health officials said 12 out of the 22 deaths in Indian River County were at long-term care facilities.

Health officials said a total of 101 residents and three non-residents in the county had been hospitalized due to the virus. The number of county cases and hospitalizations are both cumulative and do not represent the current number of positive cases being traced or the current number of people in the hospital.

As of Tuesday, there were 34 people still hospitalized, health officials said.

For the Indian River County cases, 598 are white, 118 are black, 278 are Hispanic, 130 were listed as “other” and the remaining cases were listed as “unknown” regarding race or ethnicity.

There have been 19,987 total tests completed in Indian River County, with 1,431 testing positive and 18,545 testing negative, officials said. There were no results pending.

The daily positivity rate for Indian River County increased to 7.2 percent, health officials said.

Statewide, the number of cases increased by 13,965, bringing the total to 315,775. The number of deaths in Florida residents increased by 156, raising the statewide death toll to 4,677.

Indian River County added 49 new positive coronavirus cases Wednesday, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the number of county cases to 1,386, while the death count remained at 22.

Indian River County added 78 new positive coronavirus cases Tuesday, along with one new death, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the number of county cases to 1,337, while the death count increased to 22.

The new Indian River County death is:

  • An 88-year-old man with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The man’s case was counted July 3.

Indian River County added 74 new positive coronavirus cases Monday, along with one new death, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the number of county cases to 1,259, while the death count increased to 21.

The new Indian River County death is:

  • A 51-year-old woman with no travel history and unknown contact with an infected person. The woman’s case was counted July 11.

The daily positivity rate for Indian River County increased to 6.7 percent, health officials said.

Statewide, the number of cases increased by 12,624, bringing the total to 282,435. The number of deaths increased by 35, raising the statewide death toll in Florida residents to 4,277.

Indian River County added 27 new positive coronavirus cases Sunday, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the number of county cases to 1,185, while the death count remained at 20.

Indian River County added 46 new positive coronavirus cases Saturday, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the number of county cases to 1,158, while the death count remained at 20.

Health department officials released the names of long-term care facilities with COVID-19 cases. Officials also released the names of the facilities with COVID-19 deaths.

Health officials said 11 out of the 20 deaths in Indian River County were at long-term care facilities.

Indian River County added 67 new positive coronavirus cases Friday, along with two new deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health. This raises the number of county cases to 1,112, while the death count increased to 20.

The new Indian River County deaths are:

  • An 87-year-old woman with no travel history. The woman’s case was counted July 1.
  • A 24-year-old man with no travel history, but who had known contact with an infected person. The man’s case was counted July 9.
