Sebastian Paddle Fest (formerly known as Pareidolican) is now in its 3rd year and will be raising funds and awareness for the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation (DRCF).
The race is hosted at Pareidolia Brewing Company and will start/finish from Riverview Park in Sebastian.
There are three distance races open to all paddlecraft including a kids race (350 yards), 5K, and 10k course. The US Coast Guard will be on scene to provide safety on the water.
The races start at 9:45 a.m. with the after party being hosted at Pareidolia Brewing Company. Race fees are $25 per person, which includes a commemorative glass, first beverage compliments of Pareidolia, and a reduced price lunch with all proceeds benefiting the charity.
Hosted by Sunshine Surfski, LLC, the event will aide in bringing awareness to the DRCF and to help get more people involved in non-contact sports such as paddling disciplines.
