As he has done for more than four decades, Santa made a quick trip south recently to hear the Christmas wishes of good little boys and girls at the Vero Beach Book Center’s annual Holiday Open House.
Jolly St. Nick held court from his hand-carved throne and listened patiently to the awestruck little ones, as proud parents and grandparents snapped photos to commemorate the occasion.
The children’s book section on the second floor was a hubbub of activity, as the ever patient staff members kept everyone busy with holiday stories, songs and crafts.
