Eleanor Mary Gifford, 94, Vero Beach
Eleanor Mary Gifford, 94, passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. She was born in Gloversville, N.Y., and had lived in Vero Beach for the past 20 years.
Eleanor retired from Frances Brewster Women’s Apparel as Office Manager over seven department stores. Even though she was a devoted businesswoman her greatest title was “Mom.”
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Vero Beach and volunteered at the Sebastian Hospital as a gift shop attendant.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda D. Boyington, of Vero Beach, and Deborah M. McLeod (husband, Ralph R., Jr.), of Sevierville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Gifford; and a brother, Richard Musgrave.

The family will gather to receive friends and celebrate the life of Eleanor on Saturday, January 25, from 2-4 p.m. at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
