Catherine Yvonne McCord, 48, Sebastian
Catherine Yvonne McCord, 48, passed away peacefully at her home in Sebastian on Nov. 20, 2019. She was born in Tampa, Fla., and lived in Sebastian coming from Colorado.
Catherine, being raised as a military child, has had the opportunity to see a vast majority of the world.
Cathy courageously enlisted into the United States Army and received an honorable discharge for her service.
She worked as a cook for the Café at Oceans Unite Christian Centre. Cathy was also a faithful member of the Oceans Unite Christian Centre.
She was a graduate of the Vero Beach High School, Class of 1990. While in high school, Cathy was a member of the school chorus and won the International Competition in Vienna, Austria.
Survivors include her daughter Magen McCord, of Vero Beach; sons, Rein and Kasey McCord, of Vero Beach; parents, John and Margaret Davis, of Vero Beach; brother, John Evan Davis III, of Port Orange, Fla.; and sister, Ginger Ann Davis, of New Smyrna, Fla.; and her grandfather, John George Holland, of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Cathy has so many loving friends and family members to list.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Margaret Mary Holland, of Carol City, Fla., and John and Nancy Davis, of Bradford, Fla.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Oceans Unite Christian Centre on Saturday Nov. 30, at 10 a.m.
