The Junior League of Indian River is hosting a Shopping Soirée fundraising event on Saturday, Nov. 9, on Ocean Drive from 6-8 p.m. Regular tickets are available for purchase for $35 online at www.jlir.org or in person on the night of the event.
Limited VIP tickets are available for purchase for $100, which includes a VIP swag bag and pre-party.
By purchasing a ticket, attendees are granted exclusive access to participating stores on Ocean Drive from 6-8 p.m., discounts on purchases, and will be offered sparkling wine and sweets while they shop.
A percentage of profits on purchased items will also be donated to Junior League of Indian River.
All proceeds from the Shopping Soirée will support the Junior League of Indian River’s focus area of combating violence again women, ongoing local initiatives like Operation Prom, and community impact projects held throughout the year.
“The goal for this community-oriented event is to partner with local businesses and show support for one another while raising funds to continue our work in the community,” said Avery Twiss, Vice President of Fund Development for JLIR.
The Junior League is a women-led volunteer organization made up of astute business, community and family leaders who are poised and passionate about everything they do. The organization provides a forum that brings like-minds together and serves multiple functions.
