Kenneth Earl Billington, Sebastian

Kenneth Earl Billington, of Sebastian, “Ken” to all who knew him, passed away peacefully after a six week battle with thyroid cancer, on Oct. 11, 2019, at Hospice House in Vero Beach. Ken was born Cumberland, R.I., in 1941 to Ramona (nee Beaureguard) and Earl Billington.

He then spent five years in the US Navy on the USS Regal. After he left the Navy, he went to work as a semi-trailer driver for various trucking companies, a job he loved.

He was a resident of Foster, R.I., for 30 years on his beloved farm where tractors were his passion. He then moved to Florida where he has lived for the past two years.

He leaves behind, his wife Dorothy (nee Dunn) Billington; his son, Christopher Billington; his daughter, Jocelyn Borowski; and his three grandchildren, Morgan Daignault, Chris Billington Jr., and Madison Daignault.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming St., Sebastian, after which he will be cremated and his son will take him home to Cumberland to be buried next to his mother and father in the Diamond Hill Cemetary in Cumberland, R.I.
