Mark James Hansen, 59, Vero Beach

Mark James Hansen, 59, of Vero Beach, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at VNA Hospice House. He was born in Manistee, Michi., and lived in Pennsylvania until moving to Florida at 17 years old.
Mark worked for RF Concrete Construction, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa “Terry”; children, Christina Hansen, of Alexandria, Minn., Peter Gillespie (Danielle), of Vero Beach, James Gillespie (Becca), of Vero Beach, Thomas Gillespie (Jodi), of Palm Bay; father, James K. Hansen, of Plano, Texas; mother, Karen Lee Maranda, of Vero Beach; sisters, Judi (Todd) Brossard, of Oklahoma, Lisa (Dan) Hamilton, of Texas, and Nicole Hansen; brothers, Chris (Heather) Hansen, of Texas, Kevin (Kelly) Kubaner, of Michigan, and Chad (Christina) Hansen, of Texas; sister-in-law, Camilla (Weldon) Wainright, of Vero Beach; brothers-in-law, Chester Briske, of Vero Beach, Douglas (Jenny) Briske, of Port St. Lucie, and Wayne (Kathy) Briske, of Pensacola; and eight grandchildren, Trinity, Journey, Amelia, Abigail, Novea, Haddie, Juniper, and Everest, with his daughter, Christina expecting Mark’s ninth grandchild in 2020.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mark was predeceased by his step-mother, Carolyn Hansen; and sister, Jill Estilow.
A memorial service will be held on Oct. 13, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 1655 27th St., Vero Beach.
