SEBASTIAN — A tree trimmer was electrocuted Tuesday after coming in contact with a live power line, fire rescue crews said.
Firefighters responded to the incident at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Dixie Terrace in Sebastian, north of 85th Street, Indian River County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Kyle Kofke said.
The landscaper was identified as 41-year-old Pablo O’Campo Bustamante, of Vero Beach.
It was unclear how Bustamante came in contact with the electrical line.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, Kofke said.
The company Bustamante worked for was not immediately identified.
