Philip D. Gregory, 90, Sebastian

Philip D. Gregory, 90, of Sebastian, and Mt. Vision, N.Y., passed away July 24, 2019. He was born in Oneonta, N.Y., on April 9, 1929, to Edna L. Gregory.

He graduated from Morris Central School and received his BA from Cornell in 1952, Masters in Education from Oneonta Stae College and a Masters in Physics from Union College.

He married Eleanor M. Black on June 14, 1952.

He was the 7th generation to live on the family farm that has been in the family since 1792.

Philip was a member of the Masons and held district offices, Order of the Eastern Star and was a District Grand Officer, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian.

He taught science at Morris Central School for 21 years.

While living is Sebastian he volunteered at the First Presbyterian Church Thrift shop and Ecumenical Food Pantry.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Eleanor; son, Mark L. (Debra); daughters, Terrill L. and Andrea L. Gregory; and grandchildren, Daniel H. (Veronica) Gregory, Carleigh R. and Ryan P. Gregory.

Services will be held at a later date.
