SEBASTIAN — The City of Sebastian is seeking applicants to fill an unexpired, regular member, term on the Natural Resources Board. The term will expire July 2021.
This board holds the City’s annual Earth Day event and advises City Council on environmental issues with a three-pronged focus on preservation, regulatory programs and asset management.
This is a volunteer position and applicants must be a City resident.
The Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian.
If Council fills a regular member position with an alternate member, Council reserves the right to fill the alternate position with remaining applicants.
Applications are available in the City Clerk’s office, City Hall, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or at www.cityofsebastian.org and will be accepted until July 29.
