Deputies said George Bollis had “hundreds of thousands” of inappropriate digital photos, which included the victims, at his home. The 13-year-old told authorities Bollis sexually molested him or her at Bollis’ home and his office, reports show.

“Today is a safer day in Indian River County. This man molested two young children in our county,” Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar said in a statement. “Bollis is behind bars where he deserves to be and will face the justice system. We are proud of the victims for having the courage to come forward.”

Deputies arrested Bollis, of the 1800 block of 10th Place, on three counts of sexual battery. Bollis was held Tuesday at the Indian River County Jail without bond.

Deputies began investigating in January after the 13-year-old disclosed he or she had been molested by Bollis for several years, starting when the teen was nine years old, authorities said. Deputies conducted a search at Bollis’ home and his office on 20th Avenue.

Inside his residence, deputies found numerous inappropriate pictures, which included the victims, reports show. Deputies said the second victim was under 12 years old.

Tuesday, deputies arrested Bollis and took him to the county jail. Bollis will have his first court appearance Wednesday, deputies said.

Further charges are pending as the investigation continues.
