A Torino neighborhood resident was found dead, floating in a community lake Sunday, according to police. Authorities do not suspect foul play.
The woman has been identified as 34-year-old Jeannette Maneau, of the 5500 block of NW East Torino Parkway in Port St. Lucie.
The Port St. Lucie police were called out to the area around 2 p.m. Sunday by a resident who spotted the body in a nearby lake. The caller observed the lake from a third-floor apartment unit.
According to police, the caller and another resident ran to the lake and pulled the woman from the water.
Port St. Lucie police are continuing their investigation. No details were released regarding how long the body had been in the lake prior to discovery.
