INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A woman has serious injuries and another person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash early Thursday, fire rescue crews said.
The collision happened at 4:59 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of south U.S. 1, Indian River County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Kyle Kofke said. A woman was taken by ambulance to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce with serious injuries.
Another person was taken to the Indian River Medical Center. That person’s condition was not immediately available.
The Florida Highway Patrol was investigating the cause of the wreck. No further details were immediately available.
