Police hunt for 3 suspects in middle-of-night holdup

The Port St. Lucie Police Department is continuing its hunt for three suspects who not only held up a Circle K store, but also a customer who chose the wrong time to enter the store last week.

The Circle K located in the 700 block of NW Airoso Boulevard was robbed shortly before 3:30 a.m. Nov. 28.

The three suspects entered the store and circled around. One revealed he had a handgun, displaying it to one of the store’s clerks as another suspect went behind the counter.

That suspect, according to police, took money, lotto tickets and cartons of cigarettes. During the robbery, a customer came into the store.

The customer was ordered to the ground and was robbed of his wallet, phone and keys, police said.

After the robbery, all three suspects fled the store on foot, heading east on NW Airoso Boulevard toward NW St. James Boulevard, according to police.

No injuries were reported.

Police are looking for the suspects, who on the basis of surveillance camera footage, were described as follows by police:

Suspect 1: Thin black male approximately 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-8 tall, with a mustache, wearing gray hooded shirt with a white T-shirt over it, blue denim shorts with rips on the front and compression shorts underneath, black sneakers with white soles, and a gray hat.
