Indialantic woman killed in A1A crash

Sue Beth Fisher, 77, of Indialantic died Sunday after suffering a heart attack behind the wheel of her 2004 Chevy while traveling southbound on Highway A1A at Franklyn Avenue (near Moo’s), according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Fisher, who was wearing her seat belt, “struck a curb and left the roadway” and then struck some signs and a wall, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a press release.

The call came in just after noon, and Fisher was transported to Holmes Regional and “later died at the hospital” according to the FHP. The crash remains under investigation.
