Vero’s Halloween Parade a fun scream for all

Creativity and cutie pies were in high supply at the 60th annual Halloween Parade hosted by the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department and corporate sponsors Mulligan’s Beach House and George E. Warren Corp.

From ingeniously elaborate to simple and comfortable, the menagerie of costume-clad children and their parents gathered at the Vero Beach Women’s Club before heading over to stroll along 14th Avenue in Historic Downtown Vero Beach.

Preceded by an escort of fire trucks the parade participants stopped frequently to pose for photos with the folks who lined the route, before entering the Vero Beach Community Center, where many also vied for top honors in the annual costume contest.
