Anne Francis Hoard, 64, Vero Beach
Anne Francis Hoard, 64, of Vero Beach, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at VNA Hospice House. She was born in Montgomery County, Md., and moved to Vero Beach eight years ago, coming from Fairfax County, Va.
Anne retired from the State Department, USAID, Washington, D.C., after more than 25 years as an administrative assistant.
She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Anne is survived by her brother, Bob (Tracey) Hoard; sister, Sara Hill and brother, John (Brenda) Hoard; her beloved nieces, Shannon Coates and Melissa Silver; and nephews, Chas Hill, Steven Hill and Forrest (Alison) Mallonne.

A Graveside Service will be held 1 p.m., Nov. 10, 2018, at Fairfax Memorial Cemetery, Fairfax, Va.

Kathryn “Katie” Marie Willms, 89, Vero Beach
Kathryn “Katie” Marie Willms, 89, died Oct. 20, 2018, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. She was born in Urbana, Ill., and lived in Sebastian for 24 years coming from Miami, Fla.
Katie was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, of Sebastian, where she was a former member of the Women’s Guild and she was also a former member of the GFWC Sebastian River Junior Woman’s Club.
Survivors include her brothers, Jerry Siewart and Bernard Siewart; brother-in-law, Albert Willms.
She was preceded in death her husband of 63 years, Virgil Appling Willms; and sister, Dolores Rowlings.

Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, followed by a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, with Father John Morrissey, celebrant. Burial will follow at Sebastian Cemetery, Sebastian.
