Lindi Lou Dixon, 69, Sebastian

Lindi Lou Dixon, 69, of Sebastian, died Sept. 24, 2018, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian. She was born in Westfield, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian since 1963 coming from her birthplace.

Lindi was an administrator in the medical field working as a medical billing clerk.

She was a former member of the Sebastian River Women’s Club and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Bechtold (husband, Timothy), of Sebastian, and Kelli Dixon (wife, Heather) of Sebastian; son, Gerald Dixon II (wife, Jennifer), of Sebastian; seven grandchildren; brother, John Green (wife, Joy), of Sebastian; niece and nephew, Stephanie and John Jr., of Melbourne, Fla.; and her beloved dog, Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Agnes Green; brother, Skip Green, Jr.; and nephew, Brian Green.

Irene Susan Morrison, 86, Vero Beach

Irene Susan Morrison, 86, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sept. 24, 2018, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

She was born in Elizabeth, N.J., on Aug. 21, 1932, and lived her early years in Linden, N.J., with her grandparents, Paul and Mary Szeman.

She lived most of her life in Bridgewater, N.J., where she raised her family and retired in Vero Beach with her husband, John.

Irene was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She loved to cook, bake, crochet and play bingo at church with her friends.

She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Morgan (husband, Roger), of Ardmore, Okla., sons, John Morrison (wife, Allison), of Vero Beach, and Ronald Morrison, of Vero Beach; sister, Arlene Staubach (husband, Ron); 11 grandchildren, Bonnie Hoyle (husband, Cliff), of Moore, Okla., Sharon Wells (husband, Branden), of Ocala, Fla., Lisa Kutchman, of Austin, Texas, Rachel Morrison and Hannah Morrison, of Vero Beach, Florida, Patrick Morgan (wife, Sim) of Piedmont, Okla., Kimberlee Calhoun (husband, Michael), of Durant, Okla., Amanda Morgan, of Paul’s Valley, Okla., Alexis Hasselbrink (husband, Kollin),of Vero Beach, Cameron Hueneke (wife, Emily), of Vero Beach, and Zachary Rubino, of Vero Beach; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, John Carol Morrison; her parents, Ann and Steve Csepela; and her infant great-granddaughters, Rilee and Katelyn Hoyle.

Edward Wessendorf, 83, Sebastian

Edward “The Great One” Wessendorf, 83, died Sept. 25, 2018, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian. He was born in Gloversville, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian since 1977 coming from Gloversville, N.Y.

Ed was a US Army veteran who was drafted and later reenlisted. He retired from the City of Sebastian, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator for the City.

He attended Roseland Methodist Church and was a faithful sports fan especially baseball and NASCAR.

Ed loved his family and traveling with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly; daughter, Kelly Beuth (Dan) of Sebastian, their children, Joseph (Jessica) Ogognoski and their children Delanie and Joey of Vero Beach, FL; Sherrie Beuth of Sebastian, and Kourtney Beuth (Tayler) and her son, Hayden of Sebastian; son, Frederick Wessendorf (Kelly) of Palm Bay and their children, Brendan Wessendorf and his children, Jazmine and Eddie of Palm Bay, FL and Cory Wessendorf (Kayla) and their children, Alexander and Mason of Melbourne; sisters, Geraldine Clute (Harry) and Beatrice Wilkinson, many nieces and nephews and his best friend, Tazzie.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherrie Lynn Wessendorf; son, Edward Wessendorf, Jr.; sister, Millie Mosher; brother, Frederick Wessendorf.
