Craig Stuart Arthur, 57, Vero Beach

Craig Stuart Arthur, 57, of Vero Beach, passed away at his home on Sept. 23, 2018. Craig was born on Aug. 10, 1961, in York, Pa., to Reginald and Jerlene Arthur.

He served in the United States Army and worked as a carpenter for many years. He was of the Christian faith and attended Tabernacle Ministries in Vero Beach.

He is preceded in death by his father, Reginald L. Arthur; a brother, Eric S. Arthur; grandmother, Vivian Ruth Cash; and his baby boy, Brandon E. Arthur.

He leaves behind his wife, Linda Arthur; mother, Jerlene C. Arthur, both of Vero Beach; daughter, Cortnie Davidson (Eric), of Berea, Ky.; sister, Pamela Alexander (Donnie), of Crab Orchard, Ky.; brother, Jeffrey Arthur (Kathleen), of Canton, Ga.; four grandchildren, Sara Shearer, Grace Davidson, Avery Davidson, and Brandon Davidson, all of Berea, Ky.; step-daughter, Jackie Angel, of Cathedral City, Calif.; niece, Dawn Privett (Brian), of Paris, Ky.; two great- nieces, Eleanor and Mabel, of Paris, Ky.; nephew, Timothy Arthur, of Vancouver, Wash.; Kevin Arthur, of Morrow, Ohio; and many other precious cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Saturday Sept. 29, at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.

Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Foster, Tabernacle Ministries of Vero Beach officiating.

A committal service with military honors conducted by the United States Army Honor Guard will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Fla.
