Rose Findlay Moren Plyler, 61, Vero Beach

Rose Findlay Moren Plyler, 61, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2018, in her home in Vero Beach. She was born on May 13, 1957, in Oil City, Pa., to her parents Margie and Howard Findlay.

Rose graduated from Vero Beach High School and attended Indian River Community College for cosmetology school. She established and operated a successful nail business in Vero Beach for over 40 years.

After the decline of her health, Rose could no longer continue her services to her loyal and beloved clients.

Rose was a true caregiver, and she always thought of her family and many friends first.

Rose loved growing orchids, bird watching, and especially spending quality time with her grandchildren.

She had a loving and giving heart that our family will always remember and she will be missed by all.

Rose is survived by her loving daughter, Heidi Goodson; her two grandchildren, Abbigail “Peachie” DiTrocchio and Thomas Woodgates Jr; her siblings, Joyce Davis Findlay (husband, Alex), Linda Ryan, and Thomas Findlay (wife, Penny); her sister-in-law, Patricia Findlay Doran; and several nieces and nephews.

Rose is predeceased by her parents, Howard and Margie Findlay; her spouses, Charles Moren and Hayward Plyler; her siblings, Kenneth Findlay, David Findlay, and Norma Heilman; and her brother-in-law Barry Ryan.

On July 21, at 1 p.m. there will be a service at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
