Mark Cox Law, 51, Vero Beach

Mark Cox Law, 51, passed away early Saturday morning July 7, 2018, after a long brave fight against cancer and a brief stay at Hospice House in Vero Beach. Mark was born Dec. 17, 1966, to Clemmie Cox Law and Willmar Leon Law. Both families were pioneers in Indian River County and long term residents of Vero Beach.

Mark graduated from Vero Beach High School and later attended a Musical Instrument Repair School in Wisconsin.

Music was his first love. He enjoyed jazz, symphony, classical, bluegrass, and popular music and played multiple instruments himself.

Mark loved to travel. He loved the river and the beach, boating, fishing, and camping. He was also a friend of Bill W. for many years.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Clemmie Cox Law Tripp; his father, Willmar Leon (John) Law; and his sister, Bonnie Lee Law.

Survivors include his sisters, Laura Smith, Nell Wolsiefer, Carol Dolan, Nancy Cannon; and his brother, John Law; his niece, Genny Gerard; and many other family members.

A service will be held at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach on Wednesday, July 11, at 4 p.m.

Donations to Hospice House of Vero Beach will be appreciated in lieu of flowers in memory of Mark Cox Law who will remain forever in our hearts.
