TCCH’s golf tournament a major success

VERO BEACH — What’s better than watching Day 3 of the US Open Golf Championship? For almost 70 local players, it was playing 18 holes at Bent Pine Golf Club.

Golfers enjoyed an afternoon on the private course as they competed in the scramble-style tournament and ended the day with a reception in the clubhouse. The day was filled with sunshine and a nice breeze as golfers made their way around the course.

“The course was just beautiful,” says Dennis Bartholomew, Director of Business Development at TCCH. “Even after a week of rain, the course was in pristine condition. We were nervous the rain would follow us into the weekend but it turned out to be a perfect afternoon for a tournament!”

Many golfers played a round of poker as they navigated the course while, others went home with raffled baskets. Prizes were awarded to the top three teams in each flight as well as closest to the pin and longest drive in both men’s and women’s categories.

“We are overwhelmed by the support we have received from the community,” says Vicki Soule, CEO of TCCH. “At TCCH we do not refuse any patient due to their inability to pay. We rely heavily on local donations and fundraisers in order to provide comprehensive, affordable medical, dental and behavioral health services to all members of the community.”

“We would like to thank everyone who participated, whether they were a sponsor, player, or volunteer. Your support will help us deliver exceptional primary care and support services, and improve the quality of life for all people living in Indian River County,” says Soule.

The National Bank of Commerce, Diabetes & Endocrine Associates, Oculina Bank, Windsor Imaging, Daley and Company Real Estate, Health Choice Network, Tick Tock Accounting, Passage Island Construction, Marine Bank & Trust, HRK Medical Staffing, and Treasure Coast Title & Settlement of Vero were some of the many sponsors who supported TCCH’s fundraising efforts.
