Bernard Snider, 74, Sebastian

Bernard “Bob” Snider, 74, died May 10, 2018, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian. He was born in Miami, Fla., and lived in Sebastian for three years coming from his birthplace.

Bob was a US Army Veteran and loved fishing, tinkering with his cars and being Mr. Fixit in the neighborhood.

He retired from Winn-Dixie after 36 years where he worked as a butcher.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Snider; daughter, Diane (Scott) Boykin, of Palm City, Fla.; granddaughters, Sarah Ziegler, of Grapevine, Texas, and Charlotte and Anabelle Boykin, of Palm City; brother, Donald (Jean) Snider, of Caldwell, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and many good friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his son, Robert Snider; and sisters, Rita Weber and Frances Dotson.

Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday May 26, at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian.
