In Memoriam: April 1

Russell E. Esler Jr. and Linda J. Esler, Sebastian

It is with heavy hearts and great regret that we inform of you the passing of both Linda J. (Leswing) Esler, 67, and Russell E. Esler Jr., 70, both of Sebastian, and formerly of Willow Grove, Pa. Linda passed away on Dec. 9, 2017. Russell passed away just a few short months later on March 28, 2018.

Both Linda and Russ were graduates of Upper Moreland High School. They were married on Sept. 10, 1978. Russ served in the United States Navy from November 1968 to June 1974 as a Photographer 3rd Class Petty Officer. They were residents of the Willow Grove area before moving to Sebastian in 2014. Both enjoyed the sun and sand of the New Jersey shore and more recently the crystal clear waters of Sebastian Beach.

Russ and Linda are survived by their daughter, Wendy Esler, of McKinney Texas, and Russ’ daughter, Kristen Robertson (Joe), of Port St. Lucie. They are also survived by Linda’s sister, Deborah; Russ’ sister, Elizabeth; Linda’s mother, Jean, of Vero Beach; and many other cherished family members will forever hold them in their hearts.

“Our hearts still ache with sadness and many tears still flow.

What it meant to lose you, No one will ever know.

Our thoughts are always with you, your place no one can fill.

In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still”
