Update: Deputies announced late Tuesday that Izabell Hendon was found safe and returned to family. No further details were immediately available.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Deputies continue to search for a missing 12-year-old girl last seen Monday, authorities said.

Izabell Hope Hendon was last seen about 6 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of 53rd Avenue. She is described as 5 feet 3 inches, 125 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Deputies said Hendon was wearing a light blue shirt with checkers and that had the wording “Pimpin Joy.” She also had on white jeans and Nike tennis shoes.

Anyone who knows Hendon’s whereabouts or who sees her should call the sheriff’s public safety dispatch at 772-978-6240.

No further details on the girl’s disappearance were immediately available.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Testimony from two witnesses led deputies to identify a suspect in the decades-old cold case murder of a military veteran and milk delivery man. Deputies learned that Thomas Jefferson Williams confessed to relatives that he fatally shot Hiram "Ross" Grayam several times in springtime 1968 during a delivery route in Gifford.
