Indian River Genealogical Society makes sense of DNA testing

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – The Indian River Genealogical Society is pleased to announce Diahan Southard as the program speaker at the regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 13.

The lecture is to be held at the Indian River County Main Library, 1600 21st St., Vero Beach. The business meeting convenes at 10 a.m., followed by light refreshments and the program. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Diahan Southard owns Your DNA Guide, where she provides personalized, interactive experiences to assist individuals and families in interpreting their genetic results in the context of their genealogical information. She is a lecturer at national and local conferences, and an author of several quick guides on genetic genealogy, a regular contributor to Genealogy Gems, featured writer for Family Tree Magazine, regular contributor to Genealogy Today, as well as many other small writing engagements.
