VERO BEACH — Police are searching for a man who possibly stole jewelry items while burglarizing a house last Saturday, authorities said.
Home surveillance footage captured a man snooping around the back patio of a residence about 8:38 p.m. Feb. 24 in the 800 block of Sandfly Lane. In the video, the man, who wore a cap, hoodie and dark pants, walked through the patio and then out of camera view.
Police responded to a burglary alarm at the location soon after and found a broken glass window. Jewelry items, including watches, were stolen from the home.
The value of the stolen jewelry was not immediately available. Anyone who recognizes the man in the video should call Detective Dennis Deacetis at 772-978-4660.

No further information on the burglary was available.
