Woman urinates, exposes herself to children in resident’s yard

GIFFORD — A 46-year-old intoxicated woman is suspected of urinating in a resident’s yard and exposing herself to a mother and her young children, authorities said. The woman yelled a racial slur at the mother when she told her to stop.

Tammy Ann Roseman was charged with disorderly intoxication and exposure of sexual organs. She is being held at the Indian River County Jail. Her bond amount and address were not available.

Roseman has 63 arrests total in the county dating back to 2008, including drug and disorderly intoxication charges, court records show.

Deputies went to a resident’s home about 9:30 p.m. Feb. 20 in the 2700 block of 45th Street in response to an indecent act. Upon arrival, deputies saw Roseman, who appeared highly intoxicated, had red blood shot eyes, a slurred speech and a strong alcoholic odor coming from her breath, reports show.

Deputies said Roseman was standing on the side walk across from the victim’s home yelling and screaming. The victim, a woman, told deputies that she and her children were outside when Roseman walked into the woman’s yard. Roseman pulled down her shorts and began urinating, an arrest report states.

The woman said she told Roseman to stop about five or six times. Roseman then stood up and turned toward the woman and her two children, ages 6 and 11, while her shorts were still down.

Roseman then touched her private parts, shook her waist in front of them and yelled a racial slur, deputies said. The woman told deputies she was concerned for her children because Roseman is always drunk and acting strange when she comes down the road.

Roseman was arrested and taken to the county jail for booking. She has an arraignment at 8:30 a.m. March 27 in court, court records show.
