Robert Otto Rose, 91, Vero Beach

Robert “Bob” Otto Rose, 91, of Vero Beach, died Feb. 23, 2018 at VNA Hospice House.

Bob was born in Montclair, N.J., and graduated from Montclair Academy and Seton Hall University.

He later served in the armed forces and is a Veteran of World War II.

He then worked his entire career as an agent for the federal government in New York City and New Orleans and moved to Vero Beach in 1987.

Bob lived a long and full life but will be missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathryn G. Rose; his stepchildren, Kathy (John) Townsend, Joe (Paula) Eberhardt; eight grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carol Rose; and his three nieces, Susan Rose, Cheryl Castiglia and Kathy Franks.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, Otto and Florence Rose; and his brothers, Theodore “Teddy” and William “Bill” Rose.

A private family ceremony was held on Feb. 25, 2018. Holy Catholic Masses will be offered in Montclair, N.J., and Sedona, Ariz. Bob will be laid to rest at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Montclair.

Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
