Treasure Coast Woodcarvers hold 34th annual show Feb. 10-11

The Treasure Coast Woodcarvers, a nonprofit organization of men and women who meet weekly to enjoy and promote the art of woodcarving, will be having their 34th annual show on Feb. 10 and 11.

The show will be held at Langford Park in the Bocchino community center at 2369 N. E. Dixie Highway in Jensen Beach.

Hundreds of carvings will be exhibited by members and other world-renowned carvers from all over the US and Canada.

The show will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. with a recommended contribution of $5, children under 12 are free.

Carving exhibitions as well as free sweet potato carving lessons for young interested or potential carvers will be available during the show hours. Tools, safety equipment and the potatoes will be provided.

Vendors will be at the show selling carving tools and supplies. The featured carver will be Mike Sullivan who has won numerous awards for his caricature carving both in the US and Canada.
