Brevard Symphony celebrates Broadway

VERO BEACH – A musical celebration of Broadway is coming to Vero Beach. The Brevard Symphony Orchestra will present its annual pops concert entitled Broadway Our Way on Friday, Feb. 2 at the Community Church.

As part of the Indian River Symphonic Association’s season, it will feature favorites from some of Broadway’s blockbuster hit shows including Gershwin’s An American in Paris, Gypsy, Hamilton, Jesus Christ Superstar, and in honor of the worldwide celebration of Leonard Bernstein’s 100th anniversary, West Side Story.

The concert also spotlights the exquisite and captivating voice of acclaimed singing star Michelle Amato. To top things off there will be a Special Anniversary Celebration and Reception at intermission with refreshments for the entire audience to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Indian River Symphonic Association, the organization that has brought the finest international symphony orchestras to our town for a quarter of a century.

The concert and festivities all take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, at the Community Church on 23rd Street.
